Product development
SmallToGo develops products for customers, but also products which will be sold by SmallToGo. Think of tools for system maintenance or solutions for frequently happening and specific problems.
Products will be sold with decent manuals such as user manuals and configuration and installation manuals.
Products we sell are firmly tested and easy to learn. We strive for intuitive solutions.
In Smallworld product development is done in Magik, the proprietary language of Smallworld. SmallToGo has many years of high level experience in Magik up to the latest products using the SWAF technology.
We try to use as much as possible of the standard Smallworld technology to keep your products simple and easy to upgrade.
In TatukGIS the development is done in Delphi. Also the script language (available in TatukGIS Editor version 2) we write in will be Delphi script. C# is an option to develop in.
User Interfaces
The development of a good user interface costs a lot of time. Often this development is not done thoroughly. A good userinterface increase the quality of data during input. Less mistakes will be made if the userinterface catches inconsistent input data. A good interface also increase the productivity of your employer and last but not least the pleasure to work with it.
We spend a lot of time to develop good userinterfaces.
Datamodelling
The datamodelling is the start of a GIS. A good setup of the datamodel gives good performance and storage of your data. We will docment the datamodels as well. Many internetsolutions heavilly use databases so optimisation is a key issue.
